Every Wednesday night, near the mural on the bluffs, (Cherry and Ocean) I attend a street poetry event called Writer’s Block. My friends Alex Black and Clayton Peters started it over 4/5? months ago now, and it’s becoming something of a ritual. There are a so many talented and creative people attending every week. Check out the new HD video from last week. (More to come…)...

Walking through Town.
Took a good 15 mile walk the other day, it was about 10 degrees and snowing.. I was actually quite comfortable though. I was walking through Winterset, the town and bridges that inspired “Bridges of Madison County”. Hiked to an old favorite place of mine, Clark’s Tower.

Walking on Thin Ice.
Had a lovely layover in Minneapolis, decided to take a stroll at 2AM because I wasn’t tired. It has been awhile since I have been in the snow, but I quickly reverted back to my old eskimo self.

Here is a Tour of My Bedroom. That is AP, and all my stuff. I put the candles there for a picture, and I am reading that book on the bed. Thanks Chris, its great. The Microphone was recording Dr. Jeffrey Thompson’s Healing Mind, my new favorite jam! It was also very late at night… Enjoy.

Walking Through the Pitted Party
Got a chance to set up a photo booth at my friend AJ’s Birthday Party, got some great shots, and as the drinks disapeared, the pictures got a lot more interesting. Got a little crazy in the warehouse, but overall it was a great party. Happy Birthday AJ Almeda!
(I will upload the rest to Flickr, and send you the link, and I’ll make a CD with Edited Images of you for 5 Bucks! Just...

Walking in Armor
Chivalry is not dead miss, merely hard to find,
one must go searching,
one must be found,
listen closely,
to those hallowed sonnets,
falling softly upon the ground,
this ground, on which I wearily will walk,
has felt,
it has known before I, the passion and fervor, which drives me further,
it has known before I, the heft of armor and hoove,
it has know before I,
valiant and noble, so...

Walking Real Fancy
Took another little walk through Downtown L.A. last night, always good to get out and see the city. Ended up playing the Biltmore’s piano, partying on the roof of the Standard, and getting lost in a frenzied Buble crowd.

Communication is Key
These people,
They call themselves relation,
Interject their posh opinions,
These people are money’s minions,
Turning tricks for glimpses of green,
They hide behind masks and sheets of paper,
These twisted souls dance for bottom lines,
They writhe, they slither, and they sneak,
These people,
Must not understand the situation, the sincerity of my elation,
I am ecstatic to...

Untitled Walking Poem No. 1
And once again I find myself gargling this fungal fervor,
Downing this concoction of primeval jungle juice,
I am ready for you this time,
Soon I am enveloped in celestial scenes only to be described as monstrous,
Crosshatched crimson clouds dwindle down a dark roaring vortex,
This clearing in the trees is aflame with space and its consequences, its complications, its complexities,
This...

Walking to the Other Side
My name is Arthur Hitchcock and I am a 18 year old photographer/student. Last month my mom, Janet Hitchcock, passed away from Stage 4 Breast Cancer, leaving me on my own at 18. My father (also a photographer) passed away when I was 2 from a lifelong heart condition. Being on my own at such a young age, has made school/work almost impossible. For years I have been planning a cross-country trip, and...

Red Walk Red
As I masticated this rotten ground,
I delve into something novel, and something new,
an experience, a trip, a journeyman I must muster to keep myself afloat,
that red pulsing apple, goes well with that red, red coat.
so do those candied colors you have for me, each bursting with sporadic synchronicity,
we walk the winter woods while whistling woeful whistles which will warp my willing...

A Walk in the Winter Woods.
Recently went to visit a few friends, and past connections at UC Santa Cruz this weekend. It developed into quite an experience and it has left me with warm memories and a hopeful future. Here are some of the pictures I took on my daily strolls through the campus and surrounding wilderness.
